Students select between four concentration options: Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist (AGCNS); Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP); Nurse Educator; and Nurse Executive. Admission requirements and courses are described below.
The APRN (AGCNS or FNP) concentration requires completion of 47 credits. When enrolled full-time, the APRN concentration may be completed in six semesters including summers; part-time study options are available. The APRN program is taught using both online and hybrid courses. Students request admission to the online or traditional track.
The Nurse Educator and Nurse Executive concentrations are taught online with 7-week course offerings. The Nurse Educator concentration requires completion of 35 credits. When enrolled full-time, the program can be completed in 12 months; part-time study options are available. The Nurse Executive concentration requires completion of 32 credits.
