BIOL 54401 - Epigenetics Credit Hours: 3.00. Epigenetics is the study of chemical reactions and factors that influence cell phenotype. Developmental and environmental cues impact gene expression, understanding how this is done is the basis of epi-(above) genetics. Epigenetics has implications for development, developmental idsorders, adult disorders, memory formation, etc. Permission of instructor required. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer.
