Co-requisite courses: EDPS 32800 Teaching Students with Mild to Moderate Needs I or EDPS 27600 Young Children With Exceptional Needs
Credit Hours: 3.00. Acquaints students with general methods of promoting the learning process in the P-12 settings. Topics studied will include long-term and short-term instructional planning and evaluation; classroom organization including management, motivation of students, the use of media to promote instructional objectives; and individual and group learning procedures. Students will also study how curriculum goals are adapted and implemented in the secondary classroom. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer.
