Credit Hours: 3.00. Examination of the theories of aging, problems confronting older persons, and programs designed to assist the elderly. Consideration of social aspects of aging in the U.S. in the areas of retirement, employment, housing, income, health care, and the family relationships with cross-cultural and a historical comparisons.
