Credit Hours: 3.00. This course explores how sexual identity and gender inform literary works. Fiction, poetry, drama, personal narrative, and essays by lesbian, bisexual, gay, transgender, and gender non-conforming writers may be included. Examines how sexuality and gender intersect with race, ethnicity, class, disability/ability and other social locations in shaping authorship, reading, and representation.
