CDFS 64600 - Contemporary Issues In Family Therapy Credit Hours: 3.00. Focus on assessment, intervention, and treatment of issues marriage and family therapist routinely face, including working with military families, divorce, non-traditional families, parenting/visitation, family violence, court-involved families, anger management, suicidal/depressed clients, eating disorders, alcoholism and substance abuse, self-harm behaviors, and grief issues. Course will examine these issues from a systemic, socio-cultural perspective. Typically offered Spring.
