Credit Hours: 3.00. The role of the nurse as a health educator is implemented. Nursing and non-nursing theories related to health promotion and teaching-learning processes are examined. Principles of health literacy related to patient education are emphasized. Evidence-based nursing projects related to health education within a community environment are implemented.
