Credit Hours: 3.00. This course provides an in-depth study of the communication systems that enable businesses to survive in toda’s intensive business atmosphere. Fundamentals of telecommunication networks, network architectures, network protocols, telecommunication equipment, telecommunication capabilities and current technologies in use in telecommunication networks are discussed. Students will learn how to plan, implement and manage a business network. Emerging technologies will be discussed to that students can make informed decisions about corporate telecommunication systems. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer.
