IDIS 43600 - Great Issues II Credit Hours: 3.00. A consideration of major issues affecting humankind from the perspective of our total experience, with an emphasis on the historical unfolding of those issues and great thinkers’ answers to them from the Renaissance to the present day. Focus includes discussions of moral decision-making, political systems, aesthetics, religion and spirituality, reality, knowledge, human nature and the meaning of life. Open to all students with junior, senior or graduate standing. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer.
