CHSS 20000 - Topics In Knowledge Credit Hours: 3.00. Knowledge brings power. Society requires power. But what is knowledge? What is its role in society and what is society’s impact on it? This course examines the relationships between knowledge and society from a variety of perspectives. Students will critique the sources of information available to them and consider how access to, and interpretation of, information can lead to group cohesion or division.
