                | CFT 63500 - Theories Of Human And Family DevelopmentCredit Hours: 3.00.  This course provides an overview of foundational and current developmental research on changes that occur within the individual throughout infancy, childhood, and early adolescence.  Emphasis is given to processes and mechanisms that have been proposed to explain developmental changes.  This course includes attention to social and cultural contexts within which individuals develop.  Prerequisite: Graduate level course work in Child Development or Psychology.
