NUR 52700 - Ethics For Nurses In Advanced Practice

Credit Hours: 3.00. The focus of this course is on moral dilemmas and ethical implications occurring in a variety of contexts. Students explore both theoretical and pragmatic viewpoints of dilemmas as they relate to the role of nurses in advanced practice. Content includes the historical, theoretical, contextual and practical aspects of ethical nursing practice, as well as the application of ethical frameworks, concepts, and principles.
