Since 2006, PNW faculty and administration have worked with the Economic Development community to explore how to improve the performance of economic development activities in the northwest Indiana region. From that work, the concept and content of an in-depth educational program emerged. The program is academically rigorous to meet graduate-level standards, yet emphasizes practical application of concepts to our region’s resources and capabilities.

Admission Requirements

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0/4.0 with the possibility of conditional admission for applicants who do not meet this requirement.

Certificate Requirements

Each course to be applied toward the Certificate must be completed with a grade of “B” or better.
