This practical, six-course curriculum provides first-line supervisors and group leaders with the professional education needed to succeed in business and industry today. Students begin with four core topics in human relations, applied leadership and supervision, change management, and team development. Students choose two additional courses to enhance their current or future careers, among choices such as introduction to business, business budgeting, industrial organizations, and others. Courses for this certificate apply for the Associate’s or Bachelor’s degrees in Organizational Leadership and Supervision. Most are offered online; campus classes are scheduled evenings as well as daytime to meet the needs of working adults.
NOTE
A minimum of 15 credit hours must be taken at Purdue University North Central.
All certificate track students must meet admission requirements of the College of Business.
This certificate plan of study is an entry level, pre-AS degree program.
A 2.0 GPA is required to pursue an Associate of Science Degree in OLS.
