This program teaches students the essential techniques and knowledge necessary to contribute to advances in molecular genetics, bioinformatics, and biotechnology.

Select (5) Biology/Concentration Electives. Take minimum of 6 credits from Group A and the rest from either group, a minimum of 3 credits must be of any biology courses above 30000 level excluding  and . A maximum of 3 credits of microbiology or immunology related research/internship/readings can be used to fulfill the 15 credit elective requirement.
