The Master of Science in Mathematics is designed to provide students with a course of study that will enhance their knowledge of the fundamental areas of the mathematical sciences. The elective courses allow each student to add the emphasis which most fits with that student’s academic and career plans.

Special Program Requirements
- No more than six credits of coursework with grade of “C.” “B” average must be maintained.
- All courses taken as a temporary student must post grades of “A” or “B.”
- Plan of Study submitted to Student’s Advisory Committee before the end of nine semester credits; must be approved by the Graduate School before the student registers for the semester in which the degree is to be awarded.
