Credit Hours: 3.00. Design of earth structures: dam, highway fills, cofferdams, etc. Embankment construction techniques, quality control, embankment analysis, instrumentation, foundation soil stabilization, seepage analysis and control. Design problems. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer.
