Topics in data analysis and probability such as nature and uses of data, designing investigations and sampling, distinguishing between types of data, appropriate representations of data, interpretations of data, basic concepts of probability and randomness, simulations. Appropriate technologies for teaching such topics will be used. Permission of department required. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer.
