ECET 55200 - Embedded System Design Credit Hours: 3.00. The course focuses on microcontroller hardware and software integration for embedded control applications. The architecture, programming, and interfacing of Microchip PIC16F88 microcontroller are studied. Interconnection of components, peripheral devices, C language programming, debugging, input/output techniques, and use of PC-based software development tools are studied. Prerequisite: C or C++ programming background is needed. Permission of instructor required. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer.
