Prerequisite(s): CPT 27600 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C- OR CNIT 27600 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C-
Credit Hours: 3.00. An introduction to computer operating systems and other systems software. Topics will include (but are not limited to): Internal computer systems (registers, instruction execution, cache), utility programs, memory management virtual memory, processor scheduling and security. Current operating systems will be discussed. . Typically offered Fall Spring.
