MET 16200 - Computational Analysis Tools In MET Credit Hours: 1.00. Instruction is given in analytical and computational problem-solving techniques. The electronic calculator, the factor-label method of unit conversions, and engineering graphs are used to solve technical problems in mechanical engineering technology. Credit will not be granted for both MET 16000 and 16200. Typically offered Spring. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Demonstrate algebraic techniques for solving systems of equations. 2. Demonstrate geometric understanding related to areas and volumes of shapes. 3. Demonstrate trigonometry techniques of basic trigonometric functions, theorems, and laws. 4. Apply U.S. Customary and S.I. units in calculations. 5. Apply linear interpolations of tabular data. 6. Draw graphs using software.
