Credit Hours: 3.00. Fundamental concepts in geometry. Euclidean, non-Euclidean (including spherical and hyperbolic geometry), and fractal geometry. Typically offered Fall. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Understand the axiomatic distinction between Euclidean, Spherical, and Hyperbolic Geometry.
2. Understand the properties of the family of lines through a point parallel to a given line.
3. Understand the properties of the angles of a triangle.
