BIOL 42600 - Senior Capstone

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 31600 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF D- OR BIOL 33300 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF D- OR BIOL 35700 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF D-

Credit Hours: 2.00. Students will meet two hours a week to discuss current issues in biology and give presentations. This course will integrate material learned in previous biology courses to round out the academic experience of graduating seniors and provide a final opportunity for the department to assess student achievement.
Course Learning Outcomes
1. Participate in discussions of recent scientific advances. 2. Critique original research and peer-reviewed literature in the life sciences. 3. Synthesize data from multiple sources into written or oral format.
