MKG 22400 - Principles Of Marketing Credit Hours: 3.00. An introduction to the principles and concepts underlying marketing decisions. The topics covered include distribution channels, pricing, promotion, product, consumer behavior, and environmental influences on marketing. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer. Course Learning Outcomes 1. This course provides a decision-oriented overview of marketing management in modern organizations. The most basic objectives of the course are to provide the student with a broad introduction to marketing concepts and terminology, the role of marketing in society within the firm, and the various factors that influence marketing decision-making.
