Credit Hours: 3.00. An examination of the situations and facts that give rise to ethical problems in a business setting, and discussion of alternate courses of action which might or should be taken. Students are introduced to ethical concepts that are relevant to resolving moral issues in business. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Identify the moral questions and ethical considerations that business activity specifically creates and distinguish between ethical and other types of values.
2. Reflect on the nature of business, realize alternative models for conducting business and apply moral reasoning to specific situations.
3. Evaluate the ethics of particular business decisions and general practices in business.
