Credit Hours: 3.00. A study of application of power electronic circuits that enable efficient electric power conversion in industrial power production systems such as motor drives, electric vehicles, wind turbines, and photovoltaic. The concepts are then applied to develop controllers for dc-to-dc converters and dc-to-ac inverters, using industry standard practices and equipment. Closed loop controls of dc-to-dc converters are implemented.
