EDPS 52800 - Research In Counseling Credit Hours: 3.00. This course is a graduate level seminar course for mental health and school counseling students. This course will provide students with an in-depth understanding of both quantitative and qualitative research methods. Critical reading skills and basic descriptive statistics will be covered allowing students to better understand and utilize research literature. Principles, practices, and applications of need assessment and program evaluation will be presented. Students will be provided with the opportunity to design, execute, and report results from a class research project. Permission of department required. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer.
