Course focuses on written and oral communication specifically for the environment, with special attention given to purpose, organization, audience analysis, and appropriate situational protocol. Written work emphasizes technical reports, technical descriptions, research skills, principles of document design, collaborative writing, and routine correspondence. Oral work emphasizes project presentations, conference planning and leadership, and small group dynamics. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer.
