Credit Hours: 4.00. Stoichiometry; atomic structure; periodic properties; ionic and covalent bonding; molecular geometry; gases, liquids, and solids; thermochemistry. Required of students majoring in science and students in engineering. Preparation equivalent to one year of high school chemistry is strongly recommended for students enrolling in this course.
