BIOL 11400 - Freshman Experience Credit Hours: 1.00. This is a resource seminar required for all incoming biology majors. It is intended to ease a freshman biology major’s entry into the Biological Sciences and Chemistry Section at PU/NC and, in general, the Purdue University system. It introduces the student to some fundamental details such as how to study, time management, academic success strategies, general policies and procedures of the University, and the many resources available at the North Central campus. In addition, it is designed to facilitate a student’s learning experience in BIOL 12100 , which is the first of four core biology lecture courses required of all biology majors. This course is also open to students majoring in disciplines other than biology which also require BIOL 12100 at PU/NC. Typically offered Fall.
