PHIL 32500 - Ethics and Public Health Credit Hours: 3.00. A study of the ethical issues and problems of public health and health care. Within public health, such topics will be considered as; ethical theories; laws, codes, values, and moral decision making; the health care system; issues of the health care professional; health care professionals and patients; the sanctity of life; biomedical research and human experimentation; health policy; and allocation of resources.
