HIST 27200 - Introduction to Modern Latin American History (1810 to the Present) Credit Hours: 3.00. The purpose of this general survey course is to introduce students to the study of the major economic, political, social, and cultural processes that shaped modern Latin American nations since independence. No prior knowledge of Latin American history is required. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer.
