Ecology Minor

Return to: College of Engineering and Sciences
Many students - not just those majoring in Biology - are preparing for careers that will force them to address issues involving conservation, environmental science, and/or ecology. The intent of this proposed minor is to allow interested students to focus their studies in this area. The coursework will give students a general background in biology, some exposure to chemistry, and an opportunity to undertake an informed exploration of current topics and issues in ecology and environmental science.
This minor is not available to Biology majors, who are instead encouraged to select the concentration in Ecology if they would like to demonstrate a focus in this area.
