About the Program

This micro-credential certificate program will provide a learning path for both PNW students and transitioning workforce to receive cybersecurity education. It is designed to provide a robust entry point into the world of digital defense. By bridging the gap between core IT infrastructure and specialized security protocols, it prepares students to understand not just how systems work, but how to protect them from evolving threats. The program of study consists of four existing courses (12 credits) that are all required courses for the B. S Cybersecurity Program.

Required Courses (12 Credits)

• ITS 13500 - Operating Systems Technologies
• ITS 17000 - Networking Technologies
• ITS 25000 - Fundamentals Of Information Assurance
• ITS 35000 - Fundamentals Of Cryptography

  ITS 13500 and ITS 17000 are prerequisites for ITS 25000, ITS 25000 is the prerequisite for ITS 35000
