Credit Hours: 3.00. This course provides an overview of environmental issues and legislation in the United States. Emphasis is placed on understanding and analyzing environmental problems applying basic principles of economics. This course explores the causes of environmental problems and evaluates the various policy instruments that are often used to address them at the international, national, state and local levels.
