Credit Hours: 3.00. A course exploring enterprise-level solutions and trade-offs in achieving design goals. The solution patterns and best practices will be discussed. Topics include the design considerations in achieving application availability, scalability, and reliability; technical issues involved in transaction, testing, optimization, and deployment; the practical solutions for different architectures, component-based multi-tiered solutions, and distributed applications.
