Credit Hours: 3.00. Analysis of stress and strain, Mohr’s circle, equations of equilibium and compatibility; stres-strain laws; extension torsions, bending and deflection of beams, buckling of columns, elastic stability and strain energy, Castigliano’s Theorem, pressure vessels, selected topics.
