CDFS 64800 - Applied Multivariate Analysis Credit Hours: 3.00. A survey of the most frequently employed multivariate research techniques, such as multivariate generalizations of univariate tests and analysis of variance, principal components analysis and factor analysis, canonical analysis, multiple regression analysis, structural equation modeling, and discriminant analysis. A central theme of the course is the general linear model, both univariate and multivariate. A multipurpose program for this model provides the student with practical experience in conducting multivariate research. Prerequisite: Students must have completed one college-level statistics course. Typically offered Spring.
