OLS 24200 - Fundamentals Of Ergonomics


Credit Hours: 3.00. This course is designed for students interested in the areas of occupational health and safety, production engineering, facilities management, and supervision and management. An understanding of how to prevent musculoskeletal disorders and improve manual working conditions will be gained through the use of applicable real life exercises and exploration of research in various industries. This course will cover a general study of the musculoskeletal system as well as guidelines for lifting, reaching, seated work, machine work, hand tools and vibration. Typically offered Fall Spring.
