Credit Hours: 5.00. This course provides the knowledge and skills required for community health nursing. Theory and evidence-based practice are emphasized. Critical thinking is applied in the assessment of a community and in analyzing its ability to meet the health needs of its members. Nursing roles and functions are developed throug hexperiences provided to populations in a variety of settings. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer.
