Credit Hours: 2.00. This course focuses on a range of options that complement Western biomedical health care. Ancient and contemporary practices throughout the world are explored in the context of culture, understanding that other cultures and countries have valid ways of preventing and curing diseases. Emphasis is placed on the integration and balance of body, mind, and spirit. The evidence basis of complimentary and alternative therapies is incorporated into the course.
