ME 53200 - Statistical Concepts In Engineering Credit Hours: 3.00. (ECE 52501). This course is directed toward the graduate student who has never had a statistics course or whose last statistics course was taken some time ago and a refresher course is required. The primary purpose of this course is to provide a basic understanding of fundamental probability and statistical principles, their underlying assumptions, and their use in data analysis using real-world engineering problems. The course is aimed primarily to engineering graduate students interested in project management. Prerequisite: Graduate standing and proficiency in Calculus. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer.
