This program teaches students the essential techniques and knowledge necessary to contribute to advances in molecular genetics, bioinformatics, and biotechnology.

Microbiology and Immunology Concentration Electives (15 Credits)


  • Take minimum 6 credits from Group A and the rest can be from Group A or B.
  • Take minimum 3 credits of any biology courses above 30000 level excluding BIOL 33900  and BIOL 34200 . These courses can be used as free elective.
  • Maximum 3 credits of microbiology or immunology related research/ internship/ readings can be used to fulfill the 15 credit elective requirement. Additional credits can be used as free electives.
